TIPS ON MEASURING YOUR SIZE:
• LENGTH: Measure the total length of your Bare
Foot from heel to toe.
• WIDTH: With a flexible
tape measure or piece of string, measure the inside width of
the insole of one of your best fitting shoes at the widest
point (at the ball of the foot).
Choose a shoe that is as similar as possible in construction
to the Wedgies, i.e. not
an athletic shoe, for example, but a dress shoe or a casual
shoe without thick leather or
bulky details.
• DEPTH or VOLUME: Using
a flexible tape measure or piece of string, on one of your
best fitting shoes, measure, with your foot in the shoe, from
the welt stitch (where the
sole is sewn to or attaches to the upper part of the shoe)
on one side, up over the top of
the foot to the opposite side at the welt stitch or attachment
point of the sole to the upper.
This measurement gives an idea of the “Volume” of your foot
and the true size of it.
• When selecting your size for your order, if your foot is wide
or you are between sizes,
go up to the next size. For example, if you wear a size 71/2,
order an 8.
• Remember, all the dimensions can vary slightly in production,
but the leather is very
soft and has give, so if your measurements don’t match
exactly to the Wedgie
measurements, don’t worry. Just remember, you should order
a shoe that is the same
size or bigger than your measurements, with the length being
the most important
dimension. Shoes stretch and give in width, but you can’t
make them longer!
